I found this info out a long time ago. Samsung has been developing this DVR for TWC and BHN for a few years. They are new to the cable box world. The SMT-H3090 runs ODN which is the same software as the 8300HDC. It does however have much better hardware than the 8300HDC. I expect cablecos that use SA boxes will deploy them. TWC might deploy them but most of their divisions are testing the Samsung SMT-H3090. That HD-DVR has MoCA, DTCP, DLNA, uPnP, and other cool stuff. Expect a 160 GB HDD in the Samsung but if TWC is super nice they could give us a 320 GB HDD.
