AT&T gets proud: 100% of U-verse TV STBs meet or beat Energy Star requirements
It's hard to know how many other pay-TV providers could say this very same thing but are simply choosing not to brag, but AT&T's holding nothing back in its latest release. The operator has proudly come forward and proclaimed that 100 percent of its U-verse TV receivers meet or exceed Energy Star efficiency requirements, and all new Motorola and Cisco set-top-boxes will boast the accompanying Energy Star label. Not trying to stroke your ego or anything, AT&T, but way to be green.

Yeah, and they're ugly too.
Would be nice if the consumer could disable their auto shut off after 8 hours. ATT Thanks for forcing your green agenda on me.
Dear consumer,
Get off the couch and go outside for at least 10 minutes somewhere inbetween your 14 hour TV day.
Funny, mine doesn't turn off after 8 hours, you might want to check your settings
@ben,
I leave the tele on for our dogs to have voices to listen to during the day you insensitive clod!
@ben lol what makes you think I sit around watching tv all day? Sometimes I like to sleep with the tv on and I don't like it turning off.. sheesh
Now all they have to do is to make it available in such small towns as... say... Dallas, Texas!!!
