MTV's Palladia loads up on Grammy nominees this weekend

It doesn't look like Palladia will be getting any (much-needed) brand new content this weekend, but from Friday at 9 p.m. right up until the 51st Grammy Awards begin Sunday evening at 8, expect programming centered around the various nominees. MTV Live: Kings of Leon and Soundstage: Robert Plant will be airing on the network for the first time, plus a long list of artists you've probably seen repeated many times already. Palladia is only slightly less awful than MLB Network HD... MLB has three friggin' shows (Redsox Memories, last year's World Series, and well... that's all I can think of actually) over and over and over again.

And if I have to see Oasis play Wembley one more time on Palladia I think I'm gonna have a stroke. That, Storytellers over and over again and Dispatch or OAR or some random hippie garbage that only first year college students listen to at MSG for the umpteenth time...

God, don't launch the channels if you don't have content, that's why all the VOOM channels pooped the bed, they have a Monster movie channel and they have like 20 movies TOTAL and most are garbage.

I can't wait to go home today and turn on Palladia so I can watch the MTV Europe Awards from 2007 again, good times. MTV do us all a favor and just rename the channels and re-run Super Sweet 16, The Hills and The Real World ad nauseum so a group of investors can come up with a REAL MUSIC CHANNEL AGAIN!!
