Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
Maybe, but I can control by DishNetwork DVR via the web in a iPhone optimized site, and will soon get the video too. Sorry, I've got sour grapes about DirectTV, and I'm hoping EchoStar's acquisition of Sling Media gives them a sour stomach.
How do you do that? Do you mean "control" your DVR by setting it to record shows via a browser? I'm scouring DishNetwork.com and can't seem to find how to do that.
@Jeremy, it's an invite beta through sling.com, called SlingGuide. It took me a couple weeks to get an invite, YMMV. I provides a browser UI, and an iPhone UI, to my Vip722 that is much nicer and more powerful than the TV UI. Still some bugs, but nice.
My bad... here's the link, not at sling.com: http://www.slingmedia.com/go/slingguide
Sorry for the misdirect.
Oh man this looks awesome! Thanks for sharing! Hopefully, I'll get my invite soon.
