3DFusion debuts glasses-free 3DFMax display
Forget all those 1080p sets with internet connectivity -- what you really want is an HDTV that does three-dee. Over at the Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas, 3DFusion has announced the market launch of its 3DFMax stereoscopic, glasses free, broadcast ready (get all that?) 3D display. The set is built upon the Philips WOWvx 3D solution, but outside of that, we're really left to wonder what this thing's made of. No resolution, no contrast ratio, no price. Just the hope of a chicken in every pot and a 3D HDTV in every den.

I just dont' believe it.
I can believe it, but I don't believe that it's anywhere close to being in the budget of ... oh .. 99.9% of the people here.
I can't believe that people are so spoiled that a pair of LCD, 3D glasses are such a pain. So far if you look weird? Everyone will look weird but everyone will be looking at the screen, not each other! And LCD/flicker glasses can be done right now with existing technology.
*sigh*
I can't type either. (End-of-the-week fatigue. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.)
"So what if you look weird?"
If the technology really lets it look 3d, i think that wearing the goofy glasses is well worth it
I have to say that I was shocked at the improvement over what I had
become use to as the No glasses 3D quality. There is no question that
this the best 3D, no glasses needed, which I have ever seen, and far
away the best at DSE 09
