Once upon a time, a smattering of new HD channels in one major metropolitan area was a huge deal. Nowadays, it's almost expected that one area or another will experience some HD expansion each week. In order to keep things nice and tidy around here, we deliver high-def expansions, market expansions and anything else dealing with HD channel growth right here. Another HD expansion post, another HD expansion post without any HD expansion by Comcast in Northern NJ.

I'm glad you condensed these to once a week so I don't have to be reminded more frequently how much HD the rest of the country has compared to here. It's a disgrace, for what we pay.

We have that WENY2 channel already for CBS... but still no ABC HD. Sick part is that WENY is an ABC affiliate here - I don't know why they hell they're showing CBS in HD as well. When will I just be able to watch LOST in HD? This is getting annoying.

Feb 24, MLB HD launches in Cox San Diego. But I think this is supposed to be in next week's expansion roundup.
