"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
Why ?
Because they Can
Why? So, if you're like me and have shifted most of your purchases away from DVD to Blu-ray, you can watch said BDs on the go.
I don't think they're trying to convince anyone that you need Blu-ray on your 9" screen because it will look vastly superior to DVD (although I am sure it will look a little better, especially in terms of color and contrast).
No, I wouldn't buy this unit, especially considering the $1K price tag, but prices will come down over time and many people will have a need (i.e. parents with children who want to watch their Disney Blu-rays while on long car trips).
