@Pete, thanks for the comments. It was SD for so long that I failed to anticipate that they actually might have improved the service! My bad for not checking on the latest. However, I believe I have to turn in my other two HD DVRs for just HD receivers. I save $8 a month and have the convenience of viewing/recording from any TV. I also give up 40 hours of HD programming. If they had a larger hard drive, I might be tempted.
And my experiences with the boxes still holds true. I have to reboot one box at least 3 times every day. I've replaced every box at least once so far. Overall, I would still recommend FIOS over any other service, but as an early adopter, it's been a sometimes painful journey.
