To much?

Alright let me break this down for you.

For 39.99 *current price* you get Play on. It's a one time fee product. Access Hulu, Youtube, Netflix. Tons of content there. Quality isn't bad (no netflix on a 360) but it's still really nice.

Cancel cable. Saved me +45.00 a month. With in the first month I've saved 5.00 dollars. Month 2 +45.00 back into my account. It pays for itself instantly.

I do wish I didn't have to update it so much. It takes only a minute to update but my PC is on another floor in the house so it's a bit of a pain.

MarkHawk

Comments on

It went UP $10?

went from too much to WAY too much. Occasionally I have to give it a few minutes to buffer - but that may be my IP. One thing that frustrates me is that early versions appear to be rendered inoperable whenever they release an update - this is just a minor annoyance as when i get a moment at night to sit down and watch tv it pisses me off to have to get back up again and do what is more or less a reinstall of playon...
not a huge problem and certainly not a deal-breaker - i am happy with the purchase.

i am pushing 30 now and i feel like my "generation" is one of the first of the tech age...it seems like these advancements have been typically by and for the young - but now that the computer generation have money advancements like this are going to push the price-gouging cable companies down a peg. Why in the world would I pay $80+ a month when I can hulu/netflix/BT anything I want and pick up 18 or so digital OTA channels for free on my antenna...

All I need now is a better way to stream live broadcasts to my TV other than ORB or just opening a web-browser on my tv...

cable companies need to offer channel by channel selection or they are on their way out.
commercial? wtf is a commercial?

Brian
