This still looks like a pc. No volume knob! DVD plates (rectangles in the front)! hard drive shit... wtf? i don't think htpc's should have a front hard drive cage... And yes, IR would be very useful.
the LCD's that come with some cases are useful to some people because it allow them to operate the htpc without turning on the projector/plasma, thus increasing the lifetime of those thingies.
The phone has 256MB of RAM and a 1GHz processor, which do the job reasonably well, though the Anna interface will likely leave something to be desired for many smartphone users.
