Although I don't see myself ponying up $20 for a DVD these days, with so much HD around (even the pseudo HD of most of the online services), I really like the idea of opening the vaults for on demand purchases/viewing and am glad to see Warner doing this. As a fan of 1930s and 1940s gangster, noir, and musical obscurities (in addition to the classics), the relative dearth of availability of many titles just seems like a missed revenue opportunity for the studios, and an unfortunate situation for us aficionados.
