BD load time depends greatly on the disc and the amount of Java an DRM involved. BD load times will never be as fast as SD.
I do note that the SD load time on this unit -- open-tray-with-power-off to playing is identical to my old Panasonic RP56 DVD player. About 30 seconds. Dark Knight BD was about 40. Good enough.
