I see composite and S-Video.  <br><br>component is HD video, just like HDMI, unless you drink Sony kool-aid. Make a DVR with BD, build it on linux, make it developer friendly, allow users to install plug ins and modify the source code. And if so, provided the DVR only has S-video out and the BD-R only S-video in, will it be hidef or just 400lines-STD def DVD quality??
