as a 5d mark ii user, this looks exactly like i thought it would. lots of play on focus to work with the very shallow depth of field the 5d has while shooting video. it will be interesting to see how many scenes make it into the movie that are using the manual focus. I saw a few scenes in the trailer, but nothing that had a lot of movement. when canon implements AF for movie mode in the next rev, this could has some real promise.
