What I don't understand is why is this advertised as a new platinum edition? Snow White was the very first platinum edition DVD released by Disney several years ago. I have it in my collection. It was 2 discs and the extras were overwhelming, even for today. The subsequent platinum editions didn't even compare. So I don't get it, except for being in blu-ray I guess, but then again this is an early 20th century animated feature, so I don't see the point of blu-ray for this title anyway.
well, maybe it is such a "Exclusive" time of a Month and a Half for Blu-Ray because exactly that it was already released recently on DVD only a few years ago.
this is great PR for Disney, at minimal cost, people can still buy it on DVD. pretty funny if you ask me. but i think getting this title on blu-Ray restored is great.
if you have to ask why a movie is on HD, i guess you are in the wrong place.... movies are fantastic in HD and in 1080P glory.
