1- unlimited subscriptions (season passes to shows i like)
2- option to add extra internal hard drive, to augment current one & add capacity, and at least have a decent sized hard drive to start, nothing under 500gb.
3- tivo 2 go
4- allow transfer to programs like Toast for mac, so you can back them up to disc.
5- Blockbuster for Tivo. would love to do video rental from the tivo box
6- Netflix VOD access
7- Amazon VOD access
8- networked tivo's. allow multiple tivo's on a home network to share programming and watch on different tv's. ie if your living room has LOST, allow you to access it from your bedroom.
9- program remotely, ie over website or maybe a iPhone app.

If directv cripples Tivo's technology, what is the point? we want the best in leading technology, hell we are going to pay for it!!

otherwise, i'd start demanding to legislators that Directv and Dish need to start offering the functionality to tru2way cards that would work with satellite tv provider.

Would be killer if you could get Netflix on it, but that's questionable since Directv may think that it competes with their ppv service. In reality, I never us that, just netflix. I basically want all of the greatness that is Tivo to work with DirectTV. Don't change anything.
I've tried out Netflix/Tivo and I've already watched all 3 of the movies available that I wanted to watch.
