I concur. I have 2 of these and they're great. They were about $1800 each with free shipping from newegg. It took some effort to get the color tweaked to my liking. Also, turn off the power save mode if you're using it as a monitor, otherwise the backlight fluctuates all the time when changing windows and whatnot (which I find highly annoying when surfing the web).
Great contrast and color representation. Better picture quality LCDs exist, but not not at this price point. I spent about 4 months researching before I bought and compared about a dozen TVs.

my boss got one last week from Fry's for 1499.99, prices are getting really good on these since the new models are slowly rolling out.
agreed. I have two of these. I've done a lot of comparison, and I've yet to see anything better.
oh yeah, and i got my first in october on amazon for 1350, and another one in the beginning of march for 1330
