This Endadget post is not accurate. The article states that FRONTIER is shelving plans for metered internet - not TW. There is a strong movement in Rochester and the other test markets that has so far been successful at getting a ton of media attention - so hopefully our outrage will succeed. But, I must repeat, the tests are scheduled to begin this August in Rochester. Head over to www.stopthecap.com for more info.
Wow - I spoke too soon - apparently Senator Charles Schumer came to Rochester today for a very public appearance to oppose the TW initiative and now TW has stated that they are shelving all plans for caps in Rochester! Victory for the consumers!
