This week Verizon announced it was including the YES Network in its package nationally (sans-Yankees games) in addition to all the VOD from last week. Expect those expansion announcements to start picking back up now that the Allentown, PA city council's approved FiOS TV for the area, however with an eight year window to become available, who knows when that could hit, and finally, a few reminders of how to stay Green on Earth Day.

Does anyone know if there is a list of when they are planning on rolling this out in different major cities so I know when it may be in my area at least?
Yet another "expansion" excluding a single thing NJ. I think Verizon has been sniffing too much glue lately.
Bottom line is that if you don't live out in the middle of nowhere, don't expect FIOS anytime soon. If there's an area where only two houses can get it, though, Verizon will be there!
It can't get here soon enough. "Within 8 years" doesn't get my hopes up too high though.
Doubt I'll ever see this in Phoenix. Hate choosing between Cox or Satellite..
I think we will see FiOS begin to spread across the United States and reach all those pockets of "no service"
