That's kind of reasonable in hollywood's world of pricing. Each Star Trek series on DVD was in Canada originally about $109.99 when they first came out. Even the TOS seasons. Battlestar Galatica has 4 seasons, so 4x109.99 = $430.00 basically. So perhaps using that pricing range, $349.99 sounds not too bad. Although, most star trek episodes had 23 episodes where as Battlestar Galatica was more like 13 episodes per season. So really, I think charging the amazon pre-order price of $244.99 is about right comparatively.
Mind you, I still think $244.99 is alot of money and would find myself hard pressed between buying this tv series I have already watched in full over purchasing 10+ new blu-ray discs of movies I haven't seen before.
"I'm a college student looking for a new laptop, but almost all of my media I receive digitally. I'm looking for a laptop, not a netbook, without an optical drive, and budget sensitive. The optical drive will just be a waste of space, when I can have thinner laptop. What's out there?"
