What you should be asking for, instead of freebies, is something useful for that five spot. If a scheduled show will run late, then I'd like for my recorder to compensate.
If you've ever used a Tivo you wouldn't want anything different. The DVR's out there just can't hold a candle to a true DVR. Tivo's are simply the best. Sorry you'll never see the true dvr. Ps you can buy a Tivo and pay a one time fee for lifetime service for Tivo's again. So glad that's back
