i bet the 240hz will offer a slight improvement with 24p playback and quickly moving programs (hockey), just as it did with the xbr7. but I wonder why sony continues to market that matte finish as a benefit to all their sets. the samsung a&b650's ultra clear panel is still a cut above their whole line-up.
