I was wanting a player with good audio for what I was hoping would be audio only releases on Bluray. But in the many months and even years it's taking for any players with good audio circuitry and total lack of Bluray audio releases, the Hi-Rez audio scene is changing to computer based with downloads and DVD-R discs being shipped with low royalty, DRM-free, user-friendly files.

I had determined that the sole remaining useful application for my Samsung BDPOS-1400 was to be offered as a ritualistic sacrifice it to the blu-ray gods. I got tired of Waiting for Oppo and I'll now have to decide whether to return the Pio 51 - not a bad player at all with the current firmware.
