£1900 for a 50" HD TV is not exactly what you'd call competitive here in the UK.A 52" A656 Samsung with local LED dimming and an excellent LCD HD TV was close to 25% less in price here.Personally I much prefer the Samsung as opposed to a dying tech panel.
