Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
It's series' finale for Reaper, it hasn't been renewed for next season. Also, there's Deadliest Warrior on Spike at 10. Jail is on myNetwork at 9pm.
No, Ivan, it's not the series finale of Reaper. The CW only passed on Reaper, that doesn't mean it's canceled. Industry insiders confirm Hollywood Reporter's article that ABC Studios is actively trying to sell Reaper. Syndication is a very real possiblity right now, but EVERYONE is recommending writing your affiliates! Help out! All details here: http://community.livejournal.com/reaperdmv/46875.html
Also, Reaper's only one hour tonight. Starts at 8pm.
If a show isn't picked up by its home network for another season it's considered cancelled. Until such time that another network picks it up, if that happens, it is considered cancelled. If you really like a show then by all means campaign for it to return, but don't be in denial.
Reaper is only 1 hour tonight not 2 hours.
Whatever Ivan. ABC and ABC Studios are the ones that actually own and produce Reaper, not the CW - and they haven't canceled it. Quite the opposite.
Too bad you insist on being part of the problem, and not the solution.
I didn't say that it's The CW who own and produce Reaper. In reality, it doesn't matter who owns and produces it, if there is no network to air a new season on then the show is cancelled. Why would ABC continue producing it if there's nowhere for it to be shown? I too would like for Reaper to return, a friend of mine is a big fan, but you have to admit that a network doesn't pick it up then it's cancelled because it's the network's decision whether to air or not.
Like I said Ivan, whatever. You're the one who wanted to argue semantics. Like I said, ABC's the one that makes the decision, and they've decided not to cancel it.
The studio that produces the show doesn't decide whether it gets aired or not, it's the decision of a TV network. Since there is currently no network that will air the show it's considered cancelled. If ABC are so desperate to bring Reaper back for season 3 then why not air it instead of the cancelled Pushing Daisies?
Also,
Ivan: "In reality, it doesn't matter who owns and produces it, if there is no network to air a new season on then the show is cancelled. Why would ABC continue producing it if there's nowhere for it to be shown?"
Yeah...okay....uh....I'd read the link I gave if I were you. The info's showing up in several mentions of major media today. I even emailed with Jonathan Storm at the Philadelphia Inquirer about it. Not to mention how many affiliates wdpender's had contact with.
If anyone else wants the most ACCURATE Reaper info, I'd recommend checking us out at http://reaperdmv.com
You want to deal with the facts? Let's deal with the facts. Has CW picked up Reaper for another season? No. Has any other network picked up Reaper for season 3? No. Have any episodes of season 3 been produced? No. There may be speculation and discussions going on, but that's all it is: talk. Currently, no new episodes are being made and there's nowhere for them to air, that means the show is cancelled, no matter how to you to spin it.
Wow ... so much anger for Reaper. Such a great show.
Good thing it's being picked up for a third season.
How do I know?
The devil told me.
I don't have any anger at Reaper, I'm just angry at people who disillusion themselves that a show that has been axed by the network that airs it and hasn't been picked up by another network isn't cancelled.
There is a difference between "for" and "at" ... but dude ... let it go.
Has tvsquad.com reported reaper is canceled? until they do...it hasn't been canceled.
Oh, what an epic fail! http://www.tvsquad.com/2009/05/27/reaper-the-devil-and-sam-oliver-series-finale/
