Cool for Americans. I wonder if Canada will ever get something like this?... I doubt it though.
This actually isn't bad compared to how expensive BBC video usually is. You can snag the first season of Torchwood for $39 over Xbox Live in HD compared to $55.99 Amazon on blu-ray ($99.98 MSRP!).
If you are only interested in SD video (and most of the content is only available in SD anyways) it becomes even cheaper. 1st season of Torchwood is only $26 in SD whereas the DVDs are as expensive as the blu-rays, 54.99 on Amazon.
Also, so far, only Top Gear Season 10 is available for purchase in the US on DVD where you can get up to the most recent season on Xbox Live.
See how kind bbc is...i wished nbc, and hulu and everyone else would do the same until then i have to watch some doggey streams of live shows..
