ATI Theater 750 HD chip can bring OTA HD to PCs around the world
No matter what country one finds themselves in, a PC equipped with a TV tuner powered by one of ATI's new Theater HD 750 chips should be able to tune into any over the air TV broadcasts available. These give a step up over the hardware in the company's old TV Wonder 650 line by adding PAL, SECAM and DVB-T support to NTSC, ATSC and ClearQAM access. Of course Media Center PC owners can set up all manner of DVR features, and for that all-ATI feel combines with ATI Stream software and videocards to transcode video into a variety of formats. Expect the new tuners to come out in PCI Express, USB stick and other flavors later this year, if you can't wait, try a glimpse of the preview trailer embedded after the break.

Great, now how about making portable tv's ranging from 3" to 7" and 20" tv's with built in dvd players that can be used in cars?
I have a lot of content on my PC that I'd like to view on my HDTV!?!?! Please help! :)
If its the feasible, install a video card on pc that has DVI/HDMI outputs and plug a DVI/HDMI cable from your pc directly into your tv and set the resolution to match your TV's native display. For sound take a SPDIF cable (aux audio cable) and plug it from your sound card into your AV Receiver (or directly into your TV with the proper adapters) and BOOM your set.
I see no reason to upgrade as of now. I am still using my Theater 600 chip for OTA HD and it works like a charm. Maybe if there is an HDMI input and includes an IR blaster so I can use my Dish receiver or something I would upgrade
The future is fusion?? WTF AMD???
but the UK (and probably Europe) will be using DVB-T2 (h.264 as opposed to DVB-T mpeg2) for High Definition (OTA as you lot say)
