@Ivan, If you believe that the PS3 is no different than any other stand alone, you really need to do some homework. The PS3 is a full blown computer with a CPU and GPU with more harddisk space and memory than any other non-PC built rig. The extra disk space doen't mean it can only store more content but it can also include new software to accomplish new tasks. Why do you think the PS3 is the most popular Blu-Ray player even among non-gamers?...Its because its more capable of being able to include new Blu-Ray features that other standalone players can't.
