Giant Cowboys Stadium LED wall caught playing Xbox 360 during downtime Update: Video!

The 72 x 160-foot LED wall at the center of the new Cowboys Stadium is certainly impressive enough when it's showing game highlights or concert footage, but no giant screen ever truly earns its credentials until it's been put to some real use: playing video games. Thankfully, Jonas Brothers video director Steve Fatone somehow pulled himself away from concert preparations to do just that earlier this week, and apparently became the first person to ever play Xbox 360 on the display in the process. As you can see above and in the gallery below, the two certainly seem to be made for each other, although it looks like the controller can get a tad touchy if you stray too far while trying to play it.
Update: Our man Steve hooked us up with a video of the rig in action -- check it out after the break.
[Thanks, Steve, and thanks Troy for the pics]

Hmmm, all the "If your TV is X inches, you should sit Y inches away" charts only goes up to 65". How far away should I sit for a 2106 inch TV?
I think the 50 yard line would suffice.
Whatever the distance is...that wasn't even close to far enough.
"Half the Distance to the Goal" Repeat 2nd down.
Someone just earned a years worth of cool points.
Well, I'll give him a years supply of bragging rights or maybe until people all but forget about Gears a of War. If he wanted glory, he should have played Pong or Tetris. If he wanted an endorsement deal, he should have played Super Mario Bros.
I want one.
Looks like fun, but you need to be lifted up in a Crane or something at the 50 foot line for a much better view.
Epic.. beyond epic...
I wonder what the lag/response time is on that screen... :o
Ok, so the 1080 goodness is fine and dandy, but can Gears of War output 100.30 surround sound? Imagine IF, and I stress the IF, you could map your own sound to the speakers and have a 100% true surround sound experience. I bet this would beat the living junk out of any simulator the Army has...right now.

The one and only good game that will ever happen at Cowboys Stadium. You saw it here first.
Frank's 2000 inch TV had nothing on this. Those extra 106 inches make all the difference.
Dang, I was hoping they had the audio hooked up to the stadium PA. Alas, no joy.
amazing
If the cowboys are smart they would play Madden 10 on the screen and maybe they could win a playoff game.
They could steal a gameplan from NFL Headcoach. Chances are, the AI would slaughter the coaching staff and they'd just need to do whatever it did to them.
Not that I can say much, I'm a Radiers fan :(
They should play Madden on that thing during half-time. Get a fan of the Cowboys vs a fan of whoever they are playing against that day on the 360 and let them run 2 minute quarters.
This is not even Gears of Wars gameplay video.
I have always wanted to do this
The game is much more fun to watch than the cowboys ... they stink!
so u hafta look up ? lol talk bout neck cramps ! cool aside from the fact that it was hard to see (ruins the point ?) and nothing happened in the video other than walking around.
I though the wireless controllers can only go ~35 feet?
I might be wrong - but isn't the Halo assault rifle you can see? and the "checkpoint... done." in the lower left hand corner looks like Halo too.
