This was the first I've heard of the show and I used to watch BSG. Granted I haven't watched much Fox during the off season, but I usually hear about new series one way or another. I'm guessing this will be a show that won't last very long.

I have been liking that Batman Brave and Bold show. It took a little bit for me to get used to the style, but it's what Schumacher's films should've been like.

miko34

Comments on HDTV Listings for June 26, 2009

Virtuality turned out to be pretty good. i have little faith fox will treat right though

j.howlett

Comments on HDTV Listings for June 26, 2009

I just saw Virtuality on Hulu, Not liking it. I like the concept of a crew in Space mixed with VR ... but hate the reality series part of it. That part should get canceled and the show should continue without it. But 5 billion people watching, how can it be canceled? Maybe the signal gets lost and they can't broadcast anymore. The acting is good and the writing not bad, just the reality idea is bad.

So, that's where we are at now in Hollywood TV? ... a Sci-Fi show that simulates a reality show. Like Running Man without Arnold running. Reality shows aren't real to begin with. I don't want to see actors trying to be real people on a fake show of a sci-fi series.

The variety of "security camera" shots are annoying too. I hate it when dramas do an episode like that during a season. X-Files, House, Supernatural, shows that I like ... do an episode that simulates a reality show or documentary and it just seems more fake than the show itself and the characters on screen always find it annoying when they are being filmed during their fictional job... so why do it?

I said it before ... I don't think this show will last.

miko34

Comments on HDTV Listings for June 26, 2009

Wow, it's like you read my mind. I completely agree about everything you said. Especially the reality tv show within. I felt like that was just getting in the way of the rest of the story which was pretty good.

TrueEddie
