Anyone know if DirecTV will be carrying BBC America HD when it launches on July 20th?
I checked with DirecTV and they said they do not have any immediate plans to carry BBCA HD. Bummer.
RCN Added Cartoon HD
If DirecTV doesn't get its stuff together and expand its HDTV offerings by December, I'll be a Dish Network customer when my two years are up then.
DirecTV claims to be #1 in HDTV. Not this week, it's not. Quit screwing around, DirecTV, or you're going to start losing customers.
I will tell you who should stop screwing around and that is Scamcast. I still do not have CNBC HD yet if I traveled exactly 16 miles in a straight line to the east right into Seattle I'd have it in HD. Plus they're getting more channels soon but here on the other side of the water, that is a big fat no. I've been half tempted to ditch the cable if the antenna picks up CBC in HD.
Yeah, I agree with Bob. I was really happy with DirecTV's HD lineup a few months ago, but they are lagging behind now. Off the top of my head, I can think of several channels that are now available in HD that DirecTV doesn't carry and it's pretty disappointing--No E! in HD, no Travel Channel in HD, no Liftetime in HD, and no AMC in HD. And, no BBC American in HD now too? Freakin' A, DirecTV!
