It works for like 30 seconds and then that happens. Weird thing is there is still audio, and the video will work for a little bit after turning it off/on but then goes out again.

It's going through a Denon AVR-889 (audio sent to speakers, not passed to TV), and if I change to a different HDMI input, it doesn't happen. Running the XBox through HDMI is not doing it on either input so I don't think its the receiver (sure hope not).

Anyone else having issues?

Richard Glitter

Comments on FiOS TV expansions: July 11, 2009

Never do know but that sounds more like its on your end.

Verizon generally says if they're having problems in the area - think it was recording on the phone using 1800verizon?

Did you try unplugging the electronics, including the verizon box, from the electrical outlet and then plug them in again?

Try a different HDMI cable.

These 2 great steps take 5 min. or less.

I don't get what this is referring to "and if I change to a different HDMI input, it doesn't happen." If your referring to the verizon box you answered your own question and it would not be a verizon service issue unless the box was dieing, breaking, etc.. I assume its not referring to the xbox as that would be a repeat.

NorthCranky

Comments on FiOS TV expansions: July 11, 2009

We got a handful of new HD channels for FIOS last weekend in North Jersey - including Comedy Central, MTV, Spike, VH1, and CMT. Not sure why you guys haven't reported it, despite my emailing you the news and posting it in one of the comments for another post. It sure seems like this post would be the perfect place to slip it in if you guys didn't want to make a separate post about it.

Money Mike

Comments on FiOS TV expansions: July 11, 2009

Except, they did post about it almost two weeks ago.

http://www.engadgethd.com/2009/06/30/hd-channel-expansion-roundup/

TheBDJ
