Saw all of the latest "Torchwood" season 3 (5 night) miniseries in HD already. (Thank you Internet!) It's really good. Any fan of the show should check it out.
Torchwood was really good, until the end. It sucked royal. Not sure how they can bring the show back from that epic fail.
Glad to hear it. Now do they kill Ianto? I really don't like him. They should've killed him off instead of Owen. Now Owen was a cool character!
I don't think they intend to bring it back.. That's all folks.
Returning to TV, but no longer in HD, is former MOJO HD show, now FLN, Three Sheets!!!!
Dish network is supposed to be carrying it on 9450 in HD... but their own customer support wasn't sure when today... as of 1pm pacific it was not even in the guide so I could DVR it.
They could probably use a few calls to the 800 to get their attention focused by 5pm pacific... though it is repeated again later in the eve.
I am really ready to go with locals via OTA and my AppleTV and DVD/BR for most everything else.
1st I had to teach a Dish Tech how to aim their dish after he spent 6 unsuccessful hours trying.
Then when MSNBC went HD I had to ask for it as it was in the guide but nonfunctional. Cust service didn't know it was even there... (hadn't seen their own Press Release)
Then today I did online chat with an agent who discovered that BBC America HD is on 9450 and should be there... ( this morning) followed by the aforementioned agent who was again surprised about the channel and registered an issue for me with the programming team.
So... next time Dish fails it will be disconnected after years of paying them $100 a month
Torchwood better be there tonight...
wow, so you are expecting the people getting paid $8/hour to keep on top of every press release that you assume they receive, and know the channel lineup better than their ABCs? You sound like the type of person whom thinks everyone is dumber than yourself... must be fun to be you.
The sign out in front of the old HQ, now a Call Center for DISH says $11 an hour. And at one time as much as $15.
Torchwood miniseries is on syyyfyyy on direct tv. It's also available on Bluray at amazon starting tomorrow.
I replied once but maybe the link in it blocked it from posting. Wish I could delete my fail comment.
So I misunderstood. Torchwood miniseries is on BBCA and BBCA is not in HD, which IS what the blog said. I was confused because I used to watch it in HD on another network (HDNET maybe?). So ignore me completely...
And the miniseries is on Bluray but not out until next week.
No BBCA HD in America, unless a provider flips the switch in the 11th hour. So far no one knows if and when BBCA will be HD in America.
Torchwood will be on SD, but HD . . . . . .. .
I believe Comcast has BBC-HD, It's what I watched Torchwood on last night.
