Poll: Will you buy a PS3 Slim to use as a Blu-ray player?

Finally, it's official and in our hands for a review. Now you decide, with the addition of HDMI-CEC, bitstreaming for the latest codecs, and in a quieter smaller case (although it might be a little slower loading, for now) the PlayStation 3 Slim is better and cheaper than ever for your home theater. So let us know, is that enough to get you to purchase one?

I'll still with my HTPC for now, and eventually, when it comes down in price, I'll pick up the Oppo unless an even faster unit comes along.

have an xbox for games - and a month ago went with the LG 370 knowning the slim ps3 is around the corner.
With no mkv support the LG won, and its cheaper!

Yes, now I'm considering one, since I have a Bravia TV, the Bravia Sync feature is really the thing that does it for me. Now the PS3-as-a-Blu-player should be able to be used without touching the game controller or adding an IR add-on. The only thing that's holding me back now is that I already have a Blu-Ray player and even though I have a second TV that currently only has DVD, that's not as much a priority.

Except the Bravia link doesn't support a lot of the features you would probably want, like power toggle.

I just bought PS3 as a blu-ray player with maybe some light gaming and some karaoke sessions. It seems like an all-in-one to me.
