There's DTS-HD HR and DTS-HD MA, no DTS-HD MR. There's also a typo in the previous sentence where I believe it should say "sound exactly "the same" on your system -- or at least they should." and earlier in the article with "prefer to listen thAn to read, then bad news."

Minor glitches to be sure, but otherwise the article is well-done, and considering how much drama is cooking up over spelling errors from the Android article, figured you might want to avoid "impeachability", as Josh called it in a comment.

John

Comments on Spears & Munsil High Definition Benchmark Blu-ray mini-review

Actually, check that: It seems you meant DTS-HD MA given the context.

And with regard to including DD or DTS for comparison purposes, I would have agreed that would be interesting, except I read a CNET article a while back where some editors went to Dolby and DTS's labs to A-B their codecs and could barely tell a difference, despite an acoustically perfect room, expensive equipment, ideal calibration, etc. I have to say I can't really tell a difference, and I don't have any of those conditions in my own rig. I suppose it still would have been nice for the sake of "technical completeness", but I don't think its omission is a practical issue.

John

Comments on Spears & Munsil High Definition Benchmark Blu-ray mini-review

You made the same oops.
