PowerDVD 9 patch to bring bitstreaming to Radeon 5000 users

So you've had the Blu-ray drive in your PC, and you just picked up the latest Radeon 5000 series video card, but you still don't have the TrueHD or DTS-HD lights lit up on your receiver. Well the wait is over this Friday -- if you use PowerDVD -- because Cyberlink is set to release a patch for PowerDVD 9 that will enable bitstream goodness to those equipped. Yep, that means the wait is over and you can finally build a HTPC that will match even the best Blu-ray player feature for feature.

I've already built a HTPC months ago that rivals the best Blu-ray player feature for feature.

TMT3 + Xonar HDAV1.3 has been around and doing this perfectly for quite a while now.

That said, I would like to upgrade to the 5000 series but I won't sacrifice my TMT3!

I'm actually looking at picking up TMT and a Radeon 5000 card and would like to see TMT also support this. But there is no way I would buy an Xonar now with the Radeon 5000 cards. However, I am pretty happen with just Dolby Plus since I live in a condo and can't crank up the movies as I want to so the details of the sounds wouldn't be that noticable in my situation. But this is only for now.
