Well, not Black Friday for me, being in Australia. But I just bought myself a 50inch Panasonic V10 which I am yet to unbox. Panasonic had a Christmas promo running too, so I also scored myself a free SC-BT200 (Blu-ray Disc Home Theater Sound System).
So I'm very happily set for this holiday season :D
Also, when you guys run these polls. You need an option for Home Theatre System (i.e. the whole package).
HT-BD1250 and I am already using it. its awesome!
Saved 24% on a set of 7 Blu-ray movies at Amazon (paid $103 for movies hat today cost $137). Went after a lot of new releases so I wasn't expecting to save much, but every dollar helps.
Bought a secondary HDTV and another TiVoHD from best buy. COuldn't resist their buy a TV and get a TiVoHD for $99 promo.
I'll probably regret it If TiVo announces something new at CES, but oh well. I guess I could ebay it and get most of my $398 back (99 tivoHD + 299 lifetime service).
I don't know whether it counts but I got a Canon EOS 500D/Rebel T1i which can shoot crappy 1080p/20fps and quite nice 720p/30fps video at Best Buy.
I ordered an HDHomerun. Tried to get it from Radio Shack for $90, but they ran out of stock, so I ordered it from Newegg.
@Buckaroo Banzai
I totally missed out on that deal. I would have loved to pick up an HDHomerun for $90.
A Mulwaukee 2401-200 12v electric screwdriver at Home Depot.
grabbed a set of sennheiser rs 130 wireless headphones for only $59 on Amazon.
Not on Black Friday (or "Cyber Monday") but I bought a BluRay player for my mom in the past week. Nothing fancy at all (they don't need it) but the LG BD270 for $80 on Newegg.
I finally opened up a Hitachi UT47X902 I had, then this week bought a Denon AVR-990 receiver, Klipsch Quintet SL speakers, Klipsch Sub 12 subwoofer, BD-390 blu ray player, dozen movies, 4 gig micro sd card, hub and 6 ethernet cables to hook the whole system up for online access. Been busy hooking it up today
Sony BDP-S360 and several Blu-Ray Discs. Yes, my wallet is really hurting right now!
20 Blu-ray Discs! Best Buy had some really good sales this year. I really wanted that Samsung 46" LED-backlit for $1599, but alas...maybe next year
Amazon had the BDP-S360 for $110 when I got it -- best price I saw anywhere - certainly better than any of the $100 no-name players that others had. Bunch of cheap discs from Amazon as well.
