The player supports WPA, but not WEP. You must configure your router accordingly. The problem is that Insignia tech support doesn't seem to understand that. Wait ... you mean, it's actually forcing people to have a (horrors!!) MORE secure wireless network! Well, we can't have that now! What will the wardrivers in the world do?

Sorry. I'm actually a bit giddy that it doesn't support a cracked protocol. But my wireless was already at WPA2 with a 26-character passphrase. The WiFi hooked up in a matter of minutes. (Three hours? Like hell! Sounds more like customer stupidity.) I downloaded the Netflix component, showed my wife how to use it, and she loves it, especially to rent some kids programming. I even asked her tonight if she still uses it, not knowing that she had just logged into Netflix on her PC to see if "Nightmare Before Christmas" is available for streaming.

Seriously, folks. I know it's not "brand name", which doesn't go over well with a lot of snobs^H^H^H^H^H people here; but it's a decent player for what it does, and I consider my self to be a satisfied customer with it.
