Engadget HD Podcast 171: CES 2010 day 2
Day 2 of CES is done and the sleep deprivation is really starting to take its toll. During yesterday's show we had some difficulties, so we went back over the same topcis so you wouldn't have to do without. We were able to successfully convert one other Engadgeteer into a 3D fan so we invited him on the show to tell his story. If you like Media Center news there is plenty of it as we talk CableCARD tuners form Ceton and SiliconDust. And don't worry, there is more of this where this came from.Get the podcast

You mentioned in passing on Day 1 that you didn't see any tru2way sets. Was there any talk of tru2way at all with tv set, Tivo, Moxi, anyone? Or do we pronounce it DOA?
Also any talk on or off the record about the future of the Media Center Extender? Is the XBox360 the only choice now and no one else is joining the market?

Panasonic was showing its tru2way set back box, but other than that there was no sign of tru2way.
Something seems wrong with the MP3 RSS feed. I think the end of the file name has a typo "http://hd.engadget.com/podcasts/EngadgetHD_Podcat_171.mp3" Podcast is missing the "s".
Someone counted the number of ESPN channels soon to be available. ESPN 3D will become the eighth channel. THE OCHO!

From listening to you guys about 3D I have to say that I am pretty excited. Especially for gaming and sports. It just sucks I bought a 55" screen less then 3 months go but I probably will end up getting a larger screen this years that supports 3D.
But I have yet to experience it in person yet and hope to do so soon.
