Check us out on the latest episode of HD Nation
We make it no secret that our favorite video podcast is HD Nation on Revision3, so you can imagine how honored we were to be invited on to record a few segments on the CES 2010 episode, which included the new Ceton and Silicon Dust CableCARD tuners as well as our new found passion for 3D HDTVs. The entire episode is great as always, but just to make things simple we've embedded the aforementioned segments after the break.

Cool! I've been watching HD Nation as well and couldn't agree more, it's quite good. Robert Heron is a really knowledgeable guy when it comes to HD.
Engadget HD (and the podcast) and HD Nation are basically where I get all my HD info.
Ben, you guys should invite Robert Heron on the podcast sometime, I think that would make for some really great and informative conversation.
@gadgetfanboy
They did have the HD Nation guys on a while back when their video podcast just started off on Revision3. I wonder if they will do it again since they are "competitors".
@Yakuza Fighter
I don't really think of them as competitors as I don't think we'll ever do a video podcast and they'll never do an audio podcast. And even if one of us did, it's not like we'd be on at the same time.
I thought ben was a little more chunky and had a beard!!!
Congrats Ben, Note to HD Nation Camera Crew, Why do you have to do the move the camera so much during a interview? I could do with out the shaky cam effect.
I never noticed that Ben has a "superman" hair cut.
ha, ha... Ben has spit or some kinda food stuck to his right bottom lip.
@kevon27
Stop staring at his photo haha
EHD Staff- do you agree with Robert where he says around 2:17 that Panny has the "Best" 3D HD implementation coming out of CES?
I haven't heard anyone else make that statement, and also with CES being the "pinnacle" of TV viewing environments, I can understand why most people haven't made such a conclusion... but that shouldn't stop people from stating opinions.
@Dalhectar
Yes, Richard and I both agreed on the podcast that Pamasonic had the best 3D demo. I do think a big part of the reason is it had better content. While Panasonic was showing Avatar, sports and documentaries; everyone else was mostly showing animated features.
@Dalhectar It's always hard to make direct comparisons at these events, but theirs looked the best.
Finally! I've been bugging Patrick Norton to get you on their show via e-mail for a while now!
