Unless they can find a way to fit the 3D data onto the disc (maybe it's really simple) we'll see another release of this movie and likely every other 3D film already released or coming (Tron Legacy, Shrek 4, Toy Story 3, Alice in Wonderland, etc).<br><br>As for the film itself, I thought it was brilliant. I'll wait patiently for the proper 3d release. I'm also waiting for affordable polarized projectors, so even then, I may not be able to watch the movie for a couple years. Which is why I've gone 3 times to the theater to see the 3d (and may go one more) because it may well be two years before I can watch it again.<br><br>I WILL NOT watch Avatar in 2d.
