I've seen near 10 3D movies, and Monsters vs. Aliens was the best -- yes, better than Avatar! The 3D really enhanced the experience, and I was enthralled with the sheer beauty and visual complexity of many scenes. I saw it twice just because of the 3D.
The 2D Blu-ray looks wonderful, but I'd love to own this movie in 3D. I'm glad to hear this news about the Samsung special, making it almost a done deal that a 3D Blu-ray is coming (more money to be made by a mass-market release, and Dreamworks).
For those looking for a device strictly for reading, the new Kobo is a nice little option. It's small enough to slip into a pocket, can do more with a PDF than the competition, and at $129, it's $10 cheaper than both the Nook and Kindle WiFi.
