I maybe the lone consumer here, but I put on those Panasonic at least once per week at the Magnolia Center at the Best Buy here in Pasadena,CA. My jaws just
drop fromthe spectacular black levels and high contrast levels this plasma provides. I would drop the $2-3 grand on the unit. I mean this price is a steal compared to some more expensive LED sets I've seen. The Samsung and Sony 3D sets I've witnessed were horrible compared to
the Panasonic 3D Plasma. Even with 3d turned off the Pani is sweet. And I bet you that Coraline looks good as well in 3D. I would do purchase it in a heartbeat Richard and Ben. Keep up the good work with the podcast. Even then, it's BS you have to buy their TV just to get 3D content. How much do you think they paid fox to get early access to those? I'd actually be surprised if they make a profit after calculating that in.

More likely though, I'll wait 5 years until there's content, affordable prices, and compatibility between brands. I'm looking it you backwards polarized lenses!

engadgetcomexcludeengadget

Comments on Panasonic sweetens the 3DTV deal with Coraline, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs 3D Blu-rays

*jealous* I would love to watch Coraline in true 3d again, saw it in 3d in theaters three times.
