This set just came in at Fry's Electronics on Tuesday. There was an animated film playing in 2D not 3D. I will tell you something about something that was just as good as the Panasonics. The black levels were incredible. Mind you, this was an animated film. I saw the glasses, but didn't put them on. You all moght not believe me, but I'm in Fry's, Best Buy, or the likes of Sears twice a week. In all, the black levels look very good, but I would need to see another feature length film to determine some of the features you mentioned. Peace...Oh, one more thing. You guys should see the frames that have this woodgrain finish. It looks beautiful.

blckman

Comments on Samsung's 3D plasmas showing up on real and virtual store shelves all over

I had last year pn50b650 has loud buzz at tiime and the 24p mode reset picture setting, hopefully samsung can replace with this baby,

Richard

Comments on Samsung's 3D plasmas showing up on real and virtual store shelves all over

I have been selling these for over a month....old news :)

John Nemesh

Comments on Samsung's 3D plasmas showing up on real and virtual store shelves all over

@jnemesh feel free to drop us a tip when the new joints hit the shelves, we love to hear it, and see it if you have a pic.

RichardLawler

Comments on Samsung's 3D plasmas showing up on real and virtual store shelves all over

@RichardLawler I work for a distributor, selling to the custom installer market, and we have a pretty limited showroom. We elected to display the Samsung UN55C7000 LED LCD, the Panasonic Premier TH65VX100u Plasma, the Sharp "Quattron" LC-52LE820, the Panasonic TCP50VT25, and the Samsung (non-3D) PN50C6500. I am also pushing to get the UN55C9000 on display, its just too damn sexy for words (although personally, I want the Panasonic VT25 for picture quality, even if its "tubby" at 3" thick!) ...we just got a good shipment in of those last week! We also just got in the Samsung PN63C7000 63" 3D plasmas...people have been asking for the bigger sets, and they are finally here!

John Nemesh

Comments on Samsung's 3D plasmas showing up on real and virtual store shelves all over

If you're after appalling viewing angles and the cloudiest back-lighting I've ever seen, Samsung's C7000 is perfect for you.

Look at one of these sets in a dark room.
