GamePro leak reveals Killzone 3 will be in 3D
Besides sports and movies, videogames are expected to be another huge driver for 3DTV, and Sony is apparently ready to get behind it with one of its showcase franchises for the PlayStation 3, Killzone 3. Featured as a cover story in this month's GamePro the entire game is compatible with today's 3D HDTVs using active shutter glasses (of course) but there's no exact word on the formats being used. Check the Gamespot forums or look for the issue on newsstands June 1 for more info.

Wait... isn't the real news here... Gamepro is still around? Seriously?
It's kindof amazing when you here about tech magazines still going. Who's using them? When the internet is free and has way less ads?
God of war 3 in 3d would be epic, so much art direction and the fixed camera with scenes where there is stuff between the player and the camera, would be awesome (not that it isn't in 2d)
3d Driving sims would be great too. That aside not even going to consider touching on 3d till polarization tvs are out and a decent price....so probably a couple years -_-
@Joeyjoejoe Shabadoo
how about you ACTUALLY drive, instead of driving in a 3D sim.
@knAuz
how about you drive a Veyron on a real road at 250mph.
@CakeBalls
thank you :3
@knAuz
Can I borrow your Ford GT? Mine's currently in the shop. K thanx.
@knAuz How about you ACTUALLY say something worth reading or leave people alone?
Ultimately, 3D is lame. Hopefully, it isn't the future. Leave it for children's films and games. Please. I don't want to take Dramamine in preparation of gaming or watching a film. I assume that gaming is even worse.
I just hate seeing people waste so much money on 3D. Maybe I'm just skeptical but I just don't see 3D growing that large, especially with the $150 glasses you have to wear. You've got to be a real tool to buy into this technology. I will have to see a lot more before I will jump aboard. Also I thought Killzone 2 was overrated.
@RLJSlick People have to "waste money" their known as early adopters. If people didn’t waste money Sony's PS3 and all the new systems would have not been successful. I personally purchased a first gen PS3 because I personally felt the value was to great to pass up. If your skepticism is sole based on the price then you should look forward to the early adopters buying them and you going to their house and becoming a fan after experiencing it. If you want to label them as "tools" you should look into the 2010 Business Conference. Avatars a hard core success story, shot with Sony cameras. All the people involved walked away making 2.7 billion dollars…If those are tools please let me in on the "tool" club.
