this is ridiculous.. HD should have been free on DISH for years! I have had it since 2008, and they have been charging me 10 bucks for HD on one receiver and 14 bucks on my other HD DVD receiver, plus the 6 dollar DVR fee. I'm waiting for this contract to be over in October and switch back to cable.
For those looking for a device strictly for reading, the new Kobo is a nice little option. It's small enough to slip into a pocket, can do more with a PDF than the competition, and at $129, it's $10 cheaper than both the Nook and Kindle WiFi.
