Clips from Kick-Ass Blu-ray show off exclusive special features
Kick-Ass comes to Blu-ray next week, and it seems Lionsgate has been dropping clips of the special features all over the web in preparation for its release. Not surprisingly for a studio with a rep for pushing the technological limits, it has plenty of Blu-ray exclusives planned, including "Ass Kicking Bonus View Mode" to draw together commentary, background footage and graphics along with the movie, and the "A New Kind of Superhero: The Making of Kick-Ass" documentary. Check out the most recent clip from MovieWeb embedded after the break, along with a few others TheHDRoom has found floating around the net, and check out the movie when it's released August 3.

Good movie IMHO will def add to my collection
I love this film. It was everything I hoped could be translated from the comic to film, without it going over the edge that would detract viewers The ending of the KICK-ASS comic would not have gone well in film (ie. Having your face blasted off, balls electrocuted to the point they no longer exist, etc).
It is a good movie translation of Mark Millar's amazing work, unlike that piece of shit WANTED, which is a fine standalone film, but it is based on a comic where only the words Fraternity and Wesley Gibson are the shared. Otherwise they are not like each other in the least. No dumb cloth telling you to kill people.
This such an amazing movie!! I'm sad it didn't get more recognition, but that's probably because it was rated R
Jeez, I didn't even know this left the theaters yet. I guess I wont be going out to see this eh?
@ Fluidshine
Or probably because there are no CGI super-power effects. And must Nicolas Cage be in every fifth film, like Samuel Jackson in the 90s?

I never thought I'd see the words "piece of shit" and "fine standalone film" used to describe the same movie! I also thought Wanted was great. Hadn't even heard of James McAvoy or that it was adapted from a comic. I think it could work as a kick-ass TV show (see what I did there?) with the right budget and writers.
I'm standing in front of a red box abt to check rent this movie kick ass.
