Well, they do have those annoying sponsor messages up front. Plus you usually get some stuff at the end of the recording that is promos for other shows.

However, in general I would not commflag PBS or Sprout to begin with.

I don't watch Big Brother or most of those shows. In fact I really only watch Burn Notice. Showanalyzer outputs commercial data in a ton of different formats, i.e. smartskip files for beyond TV, XML files for DVRMSToolbox to use with MCE, etc.

Most free TV software uses Comskip for the commercial detection, as that is free, vs. Showanalyzer being shareware. Online streams have commercials that can't be skipped at all and they aren't available at the same time as they are on broadcast TV. In edition the video and audio quality usually isn't as high.

Netflix streaming is better than broadcast quality, and has no commercials.

There is no filter for DRM content, but you can filter by channel. So just filter out all the channels that are marked Copy Once and set them to not process.
