I want to create a blank xml file for any channel I record that has drm flags set since none of these shows seem to work with show analyzer. If that is a true assumption.... what would be the correct condition to set in the rules editor?
There is no filter for DRM content, but you can filter by channel. So just filter out all the channels that are marked Copy Once and set them to not process. This is also useful for channels that don't have commercials like HBO and PBS.
This is a bummer.... I have about 150 channels that are all marked copy once and only 6 that are copy freely.... So without the drm filter I would have to set over 150 rules to not process????? If you happen to run into the developers please request that they look at this so that all of us on locked down cable systems can use this program to at least scan on the few channels that are copy freely i.e., the ota channels.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.

@garyrall
You can use DTB to only process those 6 channels. I'll raise your point to the developer. I had a few other suggestions for the rules as well.
