Actually the post is wrong, Warner is pulling a fast one and having both HD versions with the same MSRP of $35.99 or you can get them at Amazon.com for $24.95.

Looks like HD DVD definitely has the better deal here.
I don't think that any of the players Toshiba has sold since its $99 A2 is really going to make a large impact until after Christmas and everyone opens their presents and starts watching a few movies, then rentals and purchases will pick up quite a bit more for HD DVD. I would say the majority of players that were bought durring that weekend and black friday are for presents. Especially since we don't see any of the HD DVD numbers going up dramatically. January will probably be a turning point, but Toshiba and HD DVD supporting stuios need to keep up promotions (and Venture needs to get their player at retail price of $99) to increase the bang after Christmas.
I WANT IT!!! PLEASE!!!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
